The rise of easily obtainable computing machinery and cost-effective internet access has led to the development of various social media platforms and e-commerce sites. This has led to the decline in both the amount of time that individuals spend interacting with other people in public and the amount of in-person sales that companies make, harming small businesses.

It would not be effective to attempt to convince individuals to stop using emerging technologies--in fact, our raison d'être is to pursue the advancement of technology. As such, we are creating a solution that utilizes said technologies to solve the aforementioned problems.

While the initial designs for our solution were created before COVID-19 started spreading across the globe, the pandemic has only exasperated the issue, furthering the need for our solution. With this in mind, we expect to release our solution with public health and safety in mind.
